It started with a simple realisation: people don’t need to own most of the things in their home.

From wallpaper strippers to camping kit, much of it is used once or twice — then shoved into cupboards or storage, never to be seen again. As with Spotify or Lime, owning doesn’t always make sense. WhyBuy was created as a better alternative to unnecessary ownership.
